miami favs #103 / copas y tapas

sometimes i feel like there is no authenticity on miracle mile unless you’re looking for wedding dresses. of course, i am not looking for wedding dresses, so i may even be wrong about that part. the point i am trying to make is that when i do find a good, local, authentic place on the mile, i get excited. and i want to keep it. it’s funny how sometimes you can be deterred from going into a place because it doesn’t seem to stand out from the rest. but then i remember to not judge a book by it’s cover. and that lesson usually serves me well. like when i find places like copas y tapas by adhering to it. this place is adorable. i just want to eat it up. and drink all of the wine inside of it. it reminds me of a place you would find in barcelona after winding through the gothic alleyways. a hidden haven. cheese plates, tapas, wine, wood tables, and a small, intimate space where you can have a great date with a friend. i like it here. and it gives me a reason to go to the mile. regardless of the non-wedding dress situation.
